Nancy D. Council, age 70, of Fort Wayne, Indiana went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Nancy was born May 28, 1951 in Knoxville, TN a daughter of the late Winston and Orpha Council.
Following high school, Nancy worked as a hair dresser prior to pursing a long time career at Magnavox.
She was a member of First Baptist Church-New Haven, IN where she was always willing to volunteer her time. She had a servants heart and enjoyed studying the Bible with small groups. In her spare time she liked gardening and attending her great-nieces and nephews sporting events. Nancy was a beloved sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her siblings, Kim (Bret Krontz) Daler and Larry Council; nieces and nephew, Shannon (Aaron) Clifton, Rebecka (Tony) Hasselschwert, Allen (Elysia) Daler; great-nieces and nephews, Annicka and Annabelle Clifton, William, Abigail, James, Emily, Isabella and Olivia Hasselschwert.
She was preceded in death by her parents Winston and Orpha Council.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 3:00 PM, at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. Visitation will be two hours prior.
Burial will take place in Leo Cemetery, Leo, IN.
