Myra Ann Craig (Winebrenner), 69, of Fort Wayne passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 11, 2023 surrounded by her family. A woman of devout faith and incredible strength she adapted to many disabilities after surviving a traumatic stroke in 1991. For years following, she faced many difficult health issues. Nonetheless, she overcame, leading a happy life filled with so many moments of joy. She was always closely surrounded by family and friends. She was very competitive and loved playing Scrabble, Bingo and Yahtzee with anyone willing to be beaten, and beaten often. She treasured being a grandmother; spoiling her grandchildren whenever, and however, she could. Her friendly face, beautiful smile and contagious laugh could brighten anyone's day. She was a great listener and her quiet strength was an example that no matter what challenges life presents, you can always find happiness with the right perspective. Her family, her greatest source of joy, will miss her terribly starting with her sons, Adam Craig (Tabitha) and Jesse Craig; six grandchildren, Emma, Baylee, Carter, Kasey, Alex and Gracie, siblings, Mary Rugg, Michael Reily, Kirk Swinehart, Martin Winebrenner, Lisa Winebrenner, sister-in-law, Amy Winebrenner, and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her soulmate and loving husband, Frederick Craig, her parents, Kaye Martin Winebrenner and Marilyn Swinehart, step-father Richard Swinehart, brothers, Mark Winebrenner and Monte Winebrenner, sister, Martha Winebrenner, and brother-in-law, Melvin Rugg. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Trinity English Lutheran Church, 450 West Washington Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46802 with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be on Monday, June 19, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Concordia Gardens Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46815. Contributions in Myra's memory may be made to Coventry Meadows Memorial Fund.
