Minor George Robb Jr.

Minor George Robb Jr., age 81, a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at home with family at his side. He was a son of the late Minor George Robb and Mildred Irene (nee Cartwright) Robb.

He was a 1962 graduate of North Side High School. He met and later married the love of his life in 1963, Norma Ann Kline, who preceded him in death 29 days prior of his date of passing. He was employed by the Fort Wayne City Water Filtration Plant for 42 years.

"Butch" as he was known by many, enjoyed Avilla stock car racing, archery, hunting, fishing, working on engines, riding his Harley and going to the casino with his son-in-law and great-grandson.

Butch was also preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Christopher Wayne Foster; a sister and brother-in-law, Peg and Jim Daughtry.

He leaves to cherish and continue his legacy, three daughters, Laura (Robert) Smith, Leesa Gardiner and Lana (Wayne A.) Foster; four grandchildren, Holly (Michael) Leggett, Steven Robb, Tyler (Courtney) Gardiner, and Amanda (Jason) Mizgalski; five great-grandchildren, Leeanna, Kyle, Riley, Madeline and Johnathan; four great-great grandchildren, Bentley, Alaina, Felicity and Aiden; a sister, Sherry Boylan; brothers, Ralph (Linda) Robb and William (Althea) Robb; an aunt Betty Aurand; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Preferred memorials are to the family.

Celebration of Life Service will be 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Avenue (46805) with visitation two hours prior.
