Mildred Eleanor Hough passed from this life at the age of 91 on Sunday, June 20, 2021 while at home with family at her side. She was a daughter of the late Walter Reuben and Dessie (Delong) Mohr. Ellie as many knew her was born on November 28, 1929 in Van Wert, Ohio.
Ellie accepted Christ in her life at an early age. She met and later married in 1950 Robert E. Hough, who preceded her in death in 1995. Before retiring, she worked many years as a beautician, restaurant owner and severed as the matron at the Allen County Jail.
She leaves a legacy of memories to her children, Vicki (Mark) Hoffman of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Nancy (Gary) Wetoskey of New Haven, Indiana, Tim (Selma) Hough of Huntertown, Indiana and Steve (Peggy) Hough of Fort Wayne, a daughter–in law, Lori Hough of Fort Wayne; a nephew, Rick (Suzy) Grubaugh of Columbus, Ohio; 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A son, Michael Hough, and her siblings, Grace, Harold and Carl Mohr preceded her in death.
