Michael W. Seifert passed away at his home on Sunday, January 26, 2020. Mike was born November 21, 1960 in Kewanee, Illinois to Vernon and Barbara Seifert, who proceeded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Kristi Jo Seifert, his brother, Mark Seifert, his grandson, Bryer Parrish, and his granddaughter, Ramsey Parrish. Mike had many titles in his life but above all he was the proudest Grandpa to Bryer and Ramsey. They were his source of pride, love and joy. Mike worked as a diesel mechanic, a welder and a truck driver in his later years. He was an exceptional football coach at Parkway as well, giving his time and commitment to the boys both on and off the field. He was a lifelong loyal Cubs and Bears fan. He enjoyed woodworking, studying, betting and going to horse races, camping, music, art and politics. He also enjoyed an occasional beer. Mike cared deeply for the people in his life. He believed in treating people with respect, having common courtesy, and above all, doing what is Good and Right.
