Michael David Roe

Mike was a highly respected chemical engineer in the oil industry, working for Dowell early in his life. He continued most of his life as a chemical engineer. Later he had limited but rewarding success with small business ventures before retiring.

Mike married Lucinda M. Heyneman, who had three young teenage boys. Mike was brave enough to help Lucinda raise the boys to lead successful and fulfilling lives. He devoted his time, effort, and love to Joel, Matthew, and Christopher, considering them as his own, which will forever remain a gift to the family.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Lucinda, of Fort Wayne; his stepsons, Joel B. Doss Jr. of Fort Wayne; Matthew A. Doss, Atty, of Markle; and Christopher J. Doss of Indianapolis. He was blessed to have nine children that called him “Grandpa” and four children that called him “Great Grandpa”. Also surviving Mike are brothers Kevin Roe of Fort Wayne and Richard Roe Jr. of New England.
