Sergeant Michael Jovan Riggens, 32 departed this life on Thursday June 24, 2021 in Fort Campbell,Kentucky.During his time here in Fort Wayne, He graduated from Wayne High School in 2007 and enjoyed baseball and track while in school. He enlisted in the Army in 2006 and began serving in 2007 until the time of his passing. He was a Military Service Airborne and Staff Sergeant in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Samantha Riggens and children Joshua, Olivia, and Michael. His parents; George & Valerie Riggens. brothers; Jarod Riggens, Adrian Riggens, a special niece Nyairah Riggens, In-laws Bob & Carolyn Likens and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday July 7, 2021 at Southern Heights Baptist Church 4001 S. Anthony Blvd. Fort Wayne, IN., with visitation two hours prior at the church.
