Michael W. Reed, 77, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Hospice Home. Michael was born June 9, 1944 in Fort Wayne, son of the late Frank and Mary Reed. He worked as a heavy equipment operator, helping to build gas stations. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Beverly G. Reed of Fort Wayne; children, Mark (Rose) Reed, Todd (Michele) Reed, and Tamara Reed; step daughter, Leslie Lloyd; sister, Della (John) Blessing; nine grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step daughter, Laura Brotherton; and sister, Darlene Armstrong. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation for Michael will also be held Monday, June 21, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.Burial will be at Lindenwood Cemetery.
