Michael Wade Johnson

Michael Wade Johnson, 59, of Roanoke, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. Michael was born May 2, 1961 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was a graduate of Snider High School and a member of Sonrise Church of Roanoke. Mike had a passion for serving others and expected nothing in return. He enjoyed classic cars, especially old corvette's. Mike loved to be outdoors, working with his hands, and spending time with his grandson. He was a very unique individual and was a self taught engineer. Mike is survived by his wife, Beth Johnson; daughter, Sarah (Bobby) Schultz; grandson, Liam Wade Schultz; parents, Robert Johnson and Barbara Cushing; brother, Robert Johnson; sister, Krista (Marc) Pincince; and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceding him in passing was his grandparents, Don and Ruth Zartman; and grandma, Barbara Belote. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes- Foster Park 6301 Fairfield Avenue Fort Wayne, Indiana 46807 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial to follow the service at Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Liam Schultz education fund or Heartland Hospice in memory of Hank and Jean Salge.
