MICHAEL BLAND, 64, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital. Born Dec. 8, 1947, in Owensboro, Ky., he was the son of the late Alvin and Mary (Costillo) Bland. Surviving are his wife, Suzanne Bland; sons, Michael and David Bland; daughter, Michelle Aleshire; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012 at C.M. Sloan & Sons, 1327 Wells St. A private service will be held at a later date. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Preferred memorials to the family.
