Melanie Lynn Fawcett

Melanie Lynn Fawcett, 59 of Fort Wayne, IN passed away July 23, 2019. She was born January 25, 1960 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Samuel and Edna (Dagler) Gemple. Melanie was the former owner of the Orchard End Bingo Hall in Fort Wayne, IN and also Mel's Puff n Stuff Discount Tobacco Shop in Decatur, IN and then Fort Wayne, IN and had worked at various other jobs. She loved her family and the time she was able to spend with them. She loved playing bingo, going to Las Vegas, watching movies and enjoying her hamsters, her cats and most animals. She was loved by all and will be missed by all who knew her. Melanie is survived by her sons, David Wilson and David Maxwell Fawcett, grandchildren, Corbin, Brieanne and Laine Wilson, and brothers, Kirk and Samuel Gemple, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Stephanie Gemple and her brother, George Gemple. Services will be held 1 PM on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Mungovan Simple Cremations & Funerals 2114 S. Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, IN with visitation there from 12 PM until the service at 1PM.
