Matthew Leland Wolfe

Matthew Leland Wolfe, 54, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Englewood Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born June 22, 1962 in Fort Wayne. He graduated from Elmhurst High School in 1980 and Central Christian College of the Bible in 1984. He received his master’s degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri. He worked as an office manager and bookkeeper at Henderson Oil Company, Columbia, Missouri. He was a member of Southwest Church of Christ. He enjoyed woodworking and finish carpentry and was an avid Indiana University basketball and football fan. He is survived by his father, Jason Wolfe of Fort Wayne; children, Kristen (Joe) Brown and Preston Wolfe; siblings, Dennis (Marty) Wolfe of Lynchburg, TN, Barry (Christy) Wolfe of Angola, IN, Mark (Marsha) Wolfe of Fort Wayne, Bruce (Susan) Wolfe of Canyon Lake, TX, and Jolene (Jim) Leinbaugh of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary (Warren) Wolfe. Funeral service will be Sunday, July 3, 2016 at 2:30 PM at Southwest Church of Christ, 5500 Ardmore Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with visitation one hour prior.
