Mary Lou Robinson, 83, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Park Place Assisted Living. Mary was born March 25, 1940 in Fort Wayne, daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Zuber) Adamonis. Mary worked as a cashier for J. C. Penny. She loved to help people and was known as a "Jack of all Trades". Mary loved to laugh and be with people; she never knew a stranger. She loved to spend time playing bingo and cards, and watching game shows. Loving her role as a grandmother, she enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s different events to cheer them on. She is survived by her children, Debbie (Mark) Leiendecker, Wendy L. Robinson, Mike (Bari) Robinson; 10 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and sisters, Kathy Adamonis and Marclene Anderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Lee Robinson in 2017; brothers, John, Richard, and Michael Adamonis; and sister, Marjory Barile. Mary's funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809, with visitation two hours prior. Burial will be at Prairie Grove Cemetery. Contributions in Mary's memory may be made to Park Place Senior Living.
