MARY ELLEN (GALLAWAY) MILLER, 93, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, at Parkview Hospital. Born Feb. 16, 1917, she was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Allen County. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church-Lake Township, Washington Township Volunteer Fire Dept. Women's Auxiliary, Allen County Choir, and Allen County Farm Bureau; and was a Allen County 4-H leader. Surviving are her daughter, Ruth (David) Allen of Okinawa, Japan; sons, Larry (Bev) Miller of Fort Wayne, Roger (Carol) Miller of LaGrange and Dennis (Julie) Miller of Warsaw; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul S. Miller, in 2001; three sisters; and two brothers. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, at the funeral home.
