Mary L. Marks

Mary L. Marks, 69, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Marks was born on January 12, 1949 in Lafayette, IN to Thomas and Betty (Squires) Howat. She graduated from Francisville High School and then obtained an Associate’s Degree from International Business College in Fort Wayne. On August 2, 1969, she married Michael Marks. She worked in customer service for General Electric for 27 years before retiring in 2015. Mary was a member of The Chapel in Fort Wayne. Mary was a service oriented person and volunteered in several groups within The Chapel. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and reading. Survivors include her husband, Mike Marks, son, Chad Marks, daughter, Rusty Ann (Ryan) Frauhiger, 8 grandchildren, and 6 sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 4:00pm with calling one hour prior from 3:00pm - 4:00 pm at The Chapel, 2505 West Hamilton Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46814. Officiating the service will be Pastor Rick Hawks. Memorial donations may be directed to Ronald McDonald House at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
