Mary Agnes Hilker, 89, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. She was born to the late Paul and Martha (Seiler) Redmerski on May 11, 1929 in Fort Wayne. She married Richard M. Hilker at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Fort Wayne. He preceded her in death in 1994. Mary was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church and the Rosary Society. She worked at City Glass for over 30 years. She enjoyed singing in the choir and spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by her children, Dr. David (Mary Ann) Hilker PhD., Daniel Hilker, Dr. Richard (Roela) Hilker, and Mary Ann (John) Myers; grandchildren, Katie Gregg, Nick Hilker, Andrew (Jenna) Myers, Matthew Hilker, Alex Hilker, and Camille Hilker; great-grandchildren, Aidan, Quinn, Morgan, and Jake; and a host of relatives and friends. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Mary Ann and five other siblings.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, October 1, 2018 at Precious Blood Catholic Church (1515 Barthold Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808) at 10:00 am with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home (1327 N. Wells Street Fort Wayne, IN 46808) with a Rosary Service at 6:30 pm. Burial will follow at the Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Most Precious Blood Catholic Church or for masses to be said in her memory.
