Mary Hensley

Mary Hensley, 76 years young, went home to be a daughter of the Lord on Feb 13, 2012. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, and friend. She enjoyed listening to books on tape, watching TV and spending time with her family. She worked several jobs, including at Eckerds in Coppell, TX, in the 1980's, and at Goodwill in Fort Wayne in the 1990's. She is survived by children, Steven Hensley, Mike Hensley, and Pati Jo Stephens, grandchildren, Daniel J. & David Chester, Brandy Smith, Mike & Sherrie Hensley, great grandchildren, Alex B. Chester, Haley Smith, Andrea Griggs, and Samantha & Jasmin Hicks; step-grandchildren, Jenifer, Timmy & Kimmy. She is also survived by brothers, John Elroy Plemons & family, Karon & Sharis and Bill James Plemons & family, Eleen & Bill James Plemons, Jr. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Delores Dunning, and Joy Howard; sisters, Betty J Dartey, Martha E. Silvers & Mildard Talley & step-grandchild, Jody Lauer. Funeral Service is 2PM Friday Feb 17, 2012 at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N Wells St, with visitation 2 hours prior. Pastor Truman Smith, officiating. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery.
