I don't know if you remember me but I used to live across the street from you in Elwood and we played together as children. I was Edith Pritchard, now Alexander.  We still take the Elwood Call-Leader for my mother-in-law and I saw your mother's obituary.  I was so sorry to hear of her passing.  I liked her so much even though she was 20 years older than I was, I used to go over to your house just to talk to her.  She always made me beautiful birthday cakes every year.  They looked like they came from a professional bakery. 

I have been trying to get in touch with you but have not been able to find your email address.  I would like to hear from you, so you can reach me at the email address I submitted to the funeral home.  I give them  permission, here, to give my email address to you.  Please contact me.
Again, I am sorry to see your mother go as she was such a good friend to me and so kind. I always remember her with fondness.

Our deepest condolences to you all! I loved aunt Mary very much. I have a lot of good memories of her and uncle Melvin, two of the sweetest people I ever knew. I can still see them along the river bed at our cabin looking for arrowheads and any other pretty rock that might catch their eye. Both will deeply missed! I'm glad they are together again. For every matter there is an appointed time, even a time for every pursuit under the heavens: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot; a time to slay, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to be silent, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for battle, and a time for peace. 

What does the worker gain from his toil? I have seen the task Elohim has given to the sons of men to be humbled by it.  He has made it all, pretty in its time. Even the ages He has put in their hearts, except that no one finds out the work that Elohim does from beginning to end. I know that there is no good for them but to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor, it is a gift of Elohim. 

I know that whatever Elohim does is forever. There is no adding to it, and there is no taking from it. Elohim does it, that men should fear before Him.

As long as we can love each other, and remember the feeling of love we had,
we can die without ever really going away. All the love you created is still there.  All the memories are still there.  You live on--in the hearts of everyone you have touched and nurtured while you were here. Death ends a life, not a relationship.  This has brought me alot of comfort and hope it does for the family of Aunt Mary.  The woman with the beautful smile and silver hair.

Our deepest condolences to you and your family, Melanie.  I know that your faith will sustain you in this loss.  We will keep you in our prayers in the difficult days ahead.

To my mother - your greatest legacy was teaching by example - that anything is possible, 'you can do anything you want to - IF you want to'.
You taught me to be a real live person and I thank you for it.

I miss you so much already, you were a good mother.  You taught me how to pray and that is helping a lot right now.  I hope you are digging in a flowerbed there in heaven and sharing the forsythia with Daddy.  I will remember you both fondly, especially in the spring.  With much love, hugs, and kisses.  Melanie
