Mary Lou Anderson

Mary graduated from Indiana Vocational Technical College in 1978. She was a welder at American Hoist, Freuhauf, Lima Tank Plant, Manco and Challenge Cook. She retired from factory work at REA Magnet Wire in 2003, with over 15 years of service. Mary enjoyed holidays and big dinners with her family, as well as growing tomatoes, herbs, tending to her house plants, watching the evening news and shopping.

Mary is survived by her children, Rebecca Figert of Cecil, OH, Douglas Anderson Jr. and David Anderson both of Fort Wayne, IN; grandson, Jared Figert of Anadarko, OK; granddaughter, Kylee Figert of Fort Wayne, IN; and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Anderson; siblings, Francis Bell, Betty Johnston, Donald Bell, Inez Bowers, Robert Bell; brothers-in-law, Don Johnston, Clifford Bowers; and sister-in-law, Vickey Bell.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30pm on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne.
