Martha Lorraine Smith, age 71 passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. She was born January 28, 1951 to the late Howard and Helen (née Meyers) Peterson. Martha spent her career in construction and she loved working. She also loved animals. Martha is survived by her siblings, Max, Mary, Cindy, and Robin; five grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Penny Smith-Clark; siblings, Barbara, Carol, and Richard.
A graveside service for Martha will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lindenwood Cemetery, 2324 West Main Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808.
