Born in Fort Wayne on Oct. 9, 1950, she was one of 11 children and a daughter of Earland Raymond and Marjorie Ellen (Collins) Baron. She was a dedicated employee of Bowmar in Fort Wayne.
She worked for the company for 44 years, starting in June of 1973 and retiring in June of 2017. She absolutely loved spending time with her family and she always said that they all meant the world to her.
She is survived by daughter, Tammy (Eric) Blum of Fort Wayne; son, David (Amy) Sharp of Arlington, Va.; grandsons, Paul (Madison) Robison of New Palestine, Ind., Baron Robison of Fort Wayne, and Addison Sharp of Arlington, Va.; granddaughter, Lillian Sharp of Arlington, Va.; two great-granddaughters, Emery and Max Robison; four brothers, Lyle Baron of Columbia City, Charles (Connie) Baron of New Haven, Kenneth (Laura) Baron of Fort Wayne, and Paul (Kristy) Baron of Fort Wayne; and three sisters, Gladys Stuart of Garrett, Barbara Veigel of Hurricane, Utah, and Judy (Jackie) Terry of Kendallville. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary Ellen Baron and Irene Lynn (Baron) Stanley; a brother, Arthur Baron; and her husband, David Lynn Sharp.
Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne (IN 46805), with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020, at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
