Marlene was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, and had worked in many areas of the Allen County Government and retired in 2001, after more than 19 years as a supervisor with the Allen County Child Support Division. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard Pfeiffer; daughters, Tammy (Tim) Johnson of Leo, and Andrea Kaye (Scott) Brown of Huntertown; son, John Richard Pfeiffer (Tia Danko-Dess) of Huntertown: eight grandchildren: and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Fisher, Dorothy Beber and Mildred Wehrly; and brothers, Bud, John, James and Richard Van Horn.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10AM Tuesday, March 30,2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home (1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne), with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9pm, Monday, March 29, 2021 at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.
