Mark J. Ware

Mark J. Ware, 65, of Fort Wayne, passed away January 20, 2014. He was born on October 2, 1948 in Fort Wayne to the late Wayne Ware, Sr., and Pauline (Argerbright) Hullinger. He retired in 2004 as an equipment operator from NIPSCO. He was a past member of the Street Rod Association. He enjoyed his time delivering to people needing Meals on Wheels and also spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving family include his wife of 44 years, Vesta Ann Ware; children, Vesta Ann (J. Allen, Jr.) Kirkman, Mark J. (Jill) Ware II, Tara L. Shearer; siblings, Wayne (Julie) Ware, Jr., Anna (Alan) Selby, Gary (Sally) Ware, Tim (Emily) Ware; ½ siblings, Earl, Eddie, Ricki Ware, Tenna Kelley, Andy and Terry Ware; and 9 grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by a brother, Rex Ware. A funeral service will be 10:00 am on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 1819 Reservation Drive, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at the church. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, or Salvation Army. Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, Fort Wayne are handling arrangements.
