Marjorie E. Shannon, 82, of Ft. Wayne, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at St. Anne Home. She was born January 15, 1931 in Hillsdale, MI to the late Charles and Minnie (Adamson) James. She married William A. Shannon on July 20, 1946 and preceded her in death on October 14, 2011. She is survived by her children, William J. (Cindy) Shannon of Convoy, OH, Patrick M. (Deb) Shannon, and Betty (Scott) Crosley both of Ft. Wayne; several loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother Jerry Johnson of Ohio and a sister Esther Hein of Indiana. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, March 15, 2013 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46809 with calling ½ hr. prior. Visitation will also be from 6-8 pm on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Anne Home Activity Fund.
