Marjorie A. Counterman, 88, passed away August 26, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born January 7, 1935, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Franklin and Gladys Albert Schulze.
She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church. Marjorie worked at Lincoln Printing as a bookbinder for almost 15 years and retired in 2001.
She is survived by her children, Susan (Timothy Farber) Zwierko, Karen (Bruce Strater) Hill, Steven (Christine) Counterman, James (Devan) Counterman, Christopher Counterman, all for Fort Wayne, IN; 13 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Victor D. Counterman; and sister, Virginia Samaha.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Friday, September 1, 2023, at Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial and graveside service will be 12:00 pm Friday, September 1, 2023, at Jefferson Cemetery, Upland, IN. Memorials may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital.
