I know it has been a few years since we lost her now but I keep coming back here because I know that I have her here the most. I remember when she would sit outside when we had fires ad all of us would just chill outside and we all just sat talked had fun. She always knew what I was saying even when her sisters didn't know. I miss her a lot even this many years later. I knew I would not have forever with her but I think if we all just remember her here and remember that she loves us and cares for us even now we can get past our hard times. I needed her the most in December but I know that she is waiting to see us all again and when we do meet again she will be waiting just like the rest of our family. I miss you so much and I really wish you could be here right now to see how high school is treating me but I know you see it from the heights of heaven. I loved you and always do. Your old pal Scott

I will miss the lovely spirit who I partied with on her birthdays, (always with only one margarita--a large one, though). I will miss her because she was part of our extended childhood gaggle of girls, (always with the boys sprinkled in, here and there). Halpins and Weeklys: a tapestry of memories, always family. I am so happy to have her soft warm quilts, so lovingly crafted. I will always have her spirit in my home, draped about the sofa or armchair. Ready to warm us, and keep us remembering.

She was a fun and joyful  and loved friend she was always up going and she loved being outside and enjoying the weather I would always stop by and just chat for a while she was a very beloved friend. We will always miss her forever.

Marilyn was the kindest and sweetest souls I have ever met. She always had a smile on her face and would give you a big "Marilyn" hug! Growing up with the Weekly and Halpin girls and my sisters and myself, there were 13 sisters running the streets! She will be truly missed. Rest easy Marilyn!

Marilyn was a wonderful lady that had love in her heart for everyone she met.  I remember when we moved in down the road from her sister Theresa, and she was still living in Fort Wayne, she would come up and stay with Theresa and always ask how the kids were right after say hi to me. She never got upset when the kids would go over to the house and "talk" to her. Scott had speech troubles when we first met her and she would have to ask at times what he said but she always had patients with him and would remind him to slow down and think about what he wanted to tell her.  After she moved in with Theresa she continued to enjoy every minute she could with my kids.  She would see them outside and ask them how there day was and what they were up to.  
There is so much more I could say about this wonderful loving lady who will be missed by everyone that knew her but it is hard to put all the thoughts and memories into words.  So I will leave with"Until We Meet Again Marilyn"  you and the sisters will be in mine and my family's heart and prayers and we will rest easy each night knowing that we have you as an angle watching over us and keeping a strong loving hand on our shoulder encouraging us to do that bust we can in everything.

She was one of my best friends honestly. I could tell just by the first and simple hello how kind sweet and caring she was. I know the world will be one less caring and loving person but I like to think she's there waiting for all of us her friends and family who will and have grown to miss her. I remember all the kind hellos and just summer talks on the porch while we played with dotty. I remember each sweet and kind words of encouragement Marilyn gave to me. I know I will miss her deeply and I hope to see her again, not anytime too soon but one day.

I have many happy memories of the five Weekly cousins! Marilyn was much younger than me but she was always so sweet and funny too!  I do remember her asking if I wanted a knuckle sandwich, which is something I think all us kids heard growing up.  So sad she is gone but comforted knowing she is with so many family friends and in a much kinder and happier place!

Losing someone we love is never easy, but knowing that we have been able to be a part of Marilyn's life, we realize that we are so blessed to have been able to share in her life before she went to rest in Heaven. After the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, all we have to hold onto are the happy memories that we've shared with Marilyn, and we all know there have been plenty. This is what keeps her alive in our hearts and in our minds, and she will continue to live on, through us. I will miss those rosy cheeks, that twinkle in her eyes and Yes, that ornery chuckle that we all came to love about Marilyn. Rest in Heaven my friend, I now have another Angel watching over me, sharing a highball with our Mom's & a beer with our Dad's. I will always love you & miss you.

I remember staying at your house when we were young and also being at the lake in the summer time, up at Circle Park (Hamilton Lake). Marilyn was always such a joy to be around. I loved the Christmas ornaments she made for me this Christmas and I saw a couple of the blankets she crocheted for her cousin Scott. She was good no dought and she loved doing it. Marilyn loved to play the pull tabs at VFW. Well Marilyn you finally hit it big!! You get to be at peace & free of pain and suffering. You also get to be with the Lord and your parents!!! That's better than all the money in the world! I will miss you and your rosy red cheeks.

So Sorry to hear the loss of Marilyn. I will always remember when she came up to my home on Blue Lake and would always crochet. She was a very sweet person and I will always remember her. I wish I could be there to say good bye as at our Florida home now. Be with God and at peace Sweet Marilyn!

Six little girls running around the back yard, laughing, giggling, catching lightning bugs, This is my favorite memory. I sure will miss that smile and her sweet spirit.

Theresa "Teri" and I have known each other since we were ten. Marilyn was a big part of my family as it grew. She watched my kids off and on for years whenever I needed her and they loved her! I have a hundred memories of Marilyn. When I think about her though one thing always comes to mind....her ornery chuckle. You know the one where she would kind of bring her shoulders up and tuck her chin and hee hee hee. She knew she had got you on something and she was letting you have it. Marilyn made her way quite well. She surprised many doubters. Those of us who loved her were very proud. She was "special" because she was kind, sweet and loving. God Bless you Marilyn! I love you!

I remember sitting watching the fireworks at Vals. We had some good times. Marilyn had one of those smiles that brightened the life of everyone that was around her. She was so sweet and loving. God got a very special Angel. I feel very blessed to have known Marilyn.

We could always count on having a laugh with you even if you were under the weather. You seem to always be in a good mood and found something funny to say. We love you and will miss you very much!

Very fond memories growing up with these ladies. Marilyn was a kind and gentle soul with never a harsh word for anyone. Truly loved by all who knew her. Prayers for those she left behind.
