MARILYN L. SCOTT, 89, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2023, in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Defiance, OH on March 29, 1934, the daughter of Verne and Etta (Boyd) Scott. Marilyn was married to Bruce Scott for 58 years before his passing in 2020. She worked as a lunchroom aid at Village Woods Elementary and then as a cook at Southwick Elementary before retiring in 1997. During retirement, she enjoyed reading, knitting, sewing, spending time supporting her grandsons, and spending time at her lake cottage.
Surviving family members include her daughters, Cheri (Dom) DiFabio of Mason, Ohio, and Cathy (Shannon) Eix of Fort Wayne; grandsons, Tyler Eix, Nathan Eix and Cody DiFabio; and sister-in-law, Joan Unger of Angola, Ind.
