Marialuz margarita Munoz “Marilu Munoz” June 10, 1998 – November 16, 2024 Marialuz M Munoz also known as “Lu or Marilu” 26 years of age, was tragically taken from this lifetime on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Born on June 10, 1998, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to blessed Santos Hugo Munoz and Aidee De Santiago, Marilu was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew her. As the founder and owner of A&M Opportunities, LLC, Marilu dedicated her career to empowering others. Her tireless efforts helped countless individual’s secure meaningful employment, a testament to her deep compassion and commitment to uplifting her community. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Marilu’s greatest pride and joy was being a mother to her beloved son, Andres. As a single mother, she embodied strength, independence, and unconditional love, always putting her son’s happiness and future above all else. Marilu had an extraordinary gift for making people feel seen and loved. Her kind heart, beautiful laughter, and playful sense of humor would brighten even the darkest days. She approached life with boundless determination and joy, whether through painting, pottery, cooking, tending to those in need, or simply giving back to others. She cherished moments spent on the beach with her family, traveling, along with creating cherished memories with close friends. Her family/friends was her world, and she found immense happiness in their shared moments such as raiding her dad’s fridge for snacks, playing new games with friends, or embracing the everyday joys of togetherness. Marilu will never be forgotten for she is the embodiment of love, resilience, and dedication. She is survived by her cherished son, Andres Hudson her loving parents, Aidee De Santiago and Santos Hugo Munoz her adoring siblings, Hugo Munoz, Yadiara Munoz, Milyah Rodgers, Bella De Santiago, Romeo Munoz, and Leonardo Munoz; and her maternal grandmother, Maria Vega. As Marilu joins the world of eternal peace and perfection. Take this day not as a loss but instead a celebration of Marilu’s legacy. Join us at 2-6pm on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804. Family and friends are invited to visitation from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. In honor of Marilu’s legacy, memorial contributions (fundraising) will be directed to her loving son Andres Hudson supporting the future she envisioned for her beloved son.
