Although raised in Akron Ohio, she was born in Newnan GA, to Willie B. and Mary L. Langston.
Margaret moved to Fort Wayne in 1977 and began a career in nursing that spanned over 30 years. She was a critical care, cardiac ICU nurse at Parkview Hospital and later as a special needs nurse for Fort Wayne Community Schools at Holland Elementary.
Margaret was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and followed God's word the Bible as the spiritual guide in her life!
She especially loved her children and grand grandchildren as they always brought a smile to her face. Add to that, ANY Cleveland sports team, crocheting, sewing, playing cards, and visits with friends family.
Margaret is survived by her brother Wray (Gloria) Langston, her six children; daughters Melanie (Raymond) Burr, Kimberly West, Crystal Langston and sons David (Juanita) Goodwell, Eric Goodwell and Andre’ (Maryann) Goodwell. She had 22 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and, 3 great great-grandchildren. Special cousin Jacqueline Hale and special niece Anita Langston.
She was preceded in death by her parents Willie B. and Mary L. Langston, brothers McAurthur Langston, Danny Langston, James Langston and sister Mary J. Langston whom she loved dearly.
A funeral will be held on April 20th, 2024, at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 11181 IN-37 New Haven, IN 46774 at 2:00 pm.
