Margaret Jean Peppler

Margaret Jean Peppler, 75, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at her home in Fort Wayne. She was born July 20, 1947, in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Howard and Betty Martin.

Margaret graduated from South Side High School in 1965. In 1968, she graduated from St. Joseph Hospital of Nursing. Margaret worked at various hospitals and doctor's offices in Fort Wayne. She worked at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home (now known as Stillwater Hospice) for 18 years, retiring in 2008.

She enjoyed playing the piano, listening to music, gardening and tending her flowers, antique collecting, and cooking. Margaret’s true passion was spending time with family. She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Peppler, of Fort Wayne, IN; daughters, Lynne (Derrick) Brown of Fort Wayne, IN, Amy (Rew) Adams of Redmond, WA; sister, Susan (Allan) Flowers of San Diego, CA; and 3 grandchildren, Lilianne Brown, Lucy Brown, and Finn Adams.

A memorial service to honor Margaret's life and legacy will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 12, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. A visitation will also take place on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
