She married Walter W. "Buster" Campbell on July 3, 1949 and spent 56 years together until his passing in 2005.
She lived for her 4 children, 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She loved to play board and card games, sewing and quilting. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and visiting with her neighbors. She had two dachshunds, Sophie and Toby, that were her pride and joy!
She worked for Ft. Wayne Med Labs until her retirement in 1988.
She is survived by her children, Sheron L. (Bill) Jackson, Robert D. (Lois) Campbell, Kimberly C. (Richard "Bo") Juergens and Lesa M. (Michael) Zeedyk; grandchildren, Christopher, Preston (Jamie), Douglas (Ashley), Meghan (Troy), Lauren (Jason), Chadwick "Chad" (Nicole), Robert "Robbie" and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Christopher, Morgan, Flynn, Lukas, Gavin, Holland, Aiden, Delilah and Asher; and one great-great-grandchild, Charlee; sister, Nancy S. Lawrence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter W. "Buster" Campbell; and grandson, Richard
"Rick" Juergens.
Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on July 2, 2021 with calling one hour prior at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Ft. Wayne, IN 46805.
Visitation will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm 8 pm on July 1, 2021 also at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Allen County SPCA.
Burial will take place in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, IN.
