Who was she...
It would be cliché for me to say, “She was the best and most caring person ever.”
However, with her, it’s true and anyone who shared her presence would agree.
Lucy was not only a loving mother, wife, and sister; she was someone who could light up any room she walked into.
Her smile was contagious, and so were the silly little dances she’d do just to make you laugh.
You couldn’t help but join in and smile with her.
She worked as a CNA her whole life and was often told by families, coworkers, and even the residents that they truly loved her.
Lucy was one of the few who cared deeply for them. She would buy snacks, crafts, and anything else to make them happy.
She called it her “activities for the residents.”
Again... it might sound cliché to say she was loving and caring but she truly was.
Not only would she give anything and everything to help anyone who crossed her path in this journey we call life.
She was the kind of person who would help a complete stranger.
I love you Madre.
