LORETTA PATTERSON, 84, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012. Born Jan. 3, 1928, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Abba Knapp. She was the Co-Owner of Patterson Brothers and worked there for 20 years, she also worked for Shady Grove Trailer Park for 10 years. She is survived by her sons, Glen (Linda) Patterson, Steven (Jolleen) Patterson, Kenton (Roberta) Patterson, and Brian (Barbara) Patterson; sister, Harriet Timmons; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Patterson; and her brother, Edward Knapp. Funeral service is 12 p.m. Friday at Sloan & Sons Funeral Home with viewing two hours prior. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Alzheimer's Association .
