Linda Elaine Stone

LINDA ELAINE STONE, died on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016, at her residence. Born June 5, 1949, in Churubusco, she was a daughter of the late Paul Pippenger and Mary (LaRue) Pippenger. She was an apartment manager at Winchester Woods, Villa Capri and Coventry Courts apartments. Surviving are her husband, Robert "Bob" R. Stone of Fort Wayne; two sons, Kevin (Julie) Salesman of Springfield, Va. and L J Stevenson of Boca Raton, Fla.; grandchildren, Kayla Salesman of Fort Wayne and Dana Salesman of Springfield, Va.; brother, Gale Pippenger of Albion, Ind.; stepchildren, Tracey Stone Russell, Sherie (Bobby) Dillion, Bobby (Julia) Stone, Britt Stone, and Shawn Stone; seven step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Monty Pippenger. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana or the American Lung Association.
