She was an apartment manager at Winchester Woods, Villa Capri and Coventry Courts apartments. Surviving are her husband, Robert "Bob" R. Stone of Fort Wayne; two sons, Kevin (Julie) Salesman of Springfield, Va. and L J Stevenson of Boca Raton, Fla.; grandchildren, Kayla Salesman of Fort Wayne and Dana Salesman of Springfield, Va.; brother, Gale Pippenger of Albion, Ind.; stepchildren, Tracey Stone Russell, Sherie (Bobby) Dillion, Bobby (Julia) Stone, Britt Stone, and Shawn Stone; seven step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Monty Pippenger.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana or the American Lung Association.
