Linda Kay Davis

Linda Kay Davis 69 departed this life Thursday September 1, 2021 at her home, in Fort Wayne, IN, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 18, 1951 in Bellefontaine, OH., the daughter of the late Hugh A. Binning and Mary F. Iversen. Linda moved to Fort Wayne in 1959 with her family. She attended Central High School and graduated from Anderson High School in Lawrenceburg, KY. Linda returned to Fort Wayne, IN where she worked at GTE Telephone Company for 30 years and retired in 1999. Linda helped many adults and children with and without disabilities throughout her life. She worked for East Allen Community Schools, United Way Agencies, Anthony Wayne Services and as a special education para professional at Hoagland, Southwick and Village Elementary Schools. Linda felt the most important and rewarding jobs were at Red Cedar Center, with handicapped riding lessons. Linda leaves behind to cherish her memories, her daughter Tamara Hall, brother Alan Billing, Sisters, Eileen (Kris) Carroll, Leslie (Dana) Alden, grandchildren, Stephanie (Ashher) Ali, Bradford Firrie-Davis Jr., Joshua (Alexa) Davis, Mariah (Dewean) Hall, and special niece (granddaughter) Maggie Carrol, great grandchildren, Jaceion, Sebastian. Linnaia and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew Steven Carroll.

Memorial service will take place at 12pm on Saturday, September 11 at Wings of Deliverance THC, 2502 Fairfield Ave., Ft. Wayne, IN 46807.
