LINDA KAY CARSON, 76, of Fort Wayne, died peacefully in her sleep on Monday Sept. 11, 2017, after a long battle with Alz heimer's disease. Born Oct. 30, 1940, in Bismarck, N.D., she was a daughter of William and Alexandra Kinney. She married John Daniel Carson on Feb. 11, 1961; he preceded her in death in 2008.
Linda is survived by her four children, Cathy (Carlos) Rodriguez of Los Angeles, Calif., Jennifer (Jim) Hout, of Fort Wayne, Dan (Fran) Carson of Denver, Colo., and Amy (Michael) George of Angola, Ind.; sister, Cindy (Don) Sanelli; brother, Michael (Allie) Kinney; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. "She was loved dearly". Linda was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Rocky Marquardt and Allie Rodriguez.
At the request of Linda, a graveside funeral service is Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, at Lindenwood Cemetery, 2324 W. Main St., Fort Wayne (IN 46808), where the family will meet with guests in the chapel at 11 a.m. briefly before proceeding to the graveside service.
