Leona Faye Landis, 81 passed away Sunday August 15, 2021 at her home in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born June 27, 1940 in Carter, OK to the late L.B and Ruth Sunshine Jenkins. Leona graduated from New Haven High School in 1957. She had worked at General Electric, Magnavox and various other manufacturing companies.
Leona is survived by her children, Terry Landis Bahde of Henderson NV; Larry (Angel) Landis, Nina (Brian) Townsend both of Fort Wayne IN; Gary (Renee) Landis of Huntertown, IN; Sheri Landis of Fort Wayne, IN; Kenny (Kathy) Landis of New Haven, IN; Dennis (Kim) Landis, Nicki (Mark) Rudolph both of Fort Wayne, IN; Vivian Draper of Boulder City, NV; 22 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Glen J. Landis, parents and stepmother Nina Loawona Jenkins, siblings Barbara Doty, Billy Jenkins, Carl Sadler and Albert Sadler.
Funeral service will be 2pm Friday August 20, 2021 at St. Joe Community Church 2900 N. Anthony Blvd. Fort Wayne, IN with visitation from 12pm -2pm at the church.
