He worked at GM for 15 years and Harvester for 20 years, both as an electrician. He also served his country in the Marine Corps and was a Master Mason at the Huntertown Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Scott) Ulrey; sons, Bradley (Courtney) Ulrey, Blaine (Karen) Ulrey, Matthew Ulrey, and Joel Ulrey; daughter, Stacy (Dave) Geimer; brothers and sisters, Joe, Lamar, and Ronald Ulrey, Jeanette Leon, Lyle, Rocky, Renard, Dean, Eddie, and Jan Ulrey, Julie Miller, and Doreen Krugh; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Ulrey; and sister, Barbara Varner.
