Larry Ross Maugherman

Larry Ross Maugherman, 76, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 at his residence in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in Hillsdale, MI to the late Ross and Edna (Gepfert) Maugherman. He served honorably in the United States Army as a helicopter gunner during the Vietnam War. Larry married Patricia (Hughes) Maugherman, wife of 27 years, on September 12, 1992 and she survives. He owned his own insurance company for over 48 years and was a member of Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church. Larry enjoyed golfing and spending time with friends and family. Surviving are his children, Aaron (Kelly) Maugherman and Shelly (Edward) Houck; grandchildren, Sam, Ella, Jack, Sophia Maugherman and Aiden Houck; brother, Tim Maugherman; and sisters, Vicki (Butch) Moffett and Pam (Jim) Whitman. Larry was preceded in death by brother, Barney. Celebration of life service 10:30 am Thursday, August 1, 2019 at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Visitation Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 4-8pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home.
