Larry Wayne Johnston

Larry Wayne Johnston, 86, of New Haven, IN, passed away on Saturday, March 25m 2023 at Stillwater Hospice. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. Larry retired as an electrician from Zollner Piston in 1998. He served in the Indiana Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve and was a member of American Legion #330. He served on the Adams Co. Volunteer Fire Dept. and Allen County Sherriff Reserves for several years. He is survived by his son, Rick (Cynthia) Johnston, Leo, IN; daughter, Cheryl (Doug) Bader, Middlebury, IN; stepson, Terry (Mary) Holes, Greenwood, IN; stepdaughter, Susan (Randy Warner) Dickmeyer; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Ron (Carolyn) Johnston; sister, Peg May; sister-in-law, Sally Bosler; brother-in-law, John (Margo) Morgan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Johnston; and stepson, Greg Holmes. A memorial service for Larry will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at Concordia Lutheran Church, 425 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
