On December 11, 2023, Kelsey Emerson Maia Guyton, a vibrant and beautiful little princess, transitioned to Heaven at the young age of 8. A treasured daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, "Sweet Girl" as her Mommy called her.
Kelsey was born on May 16, 2015, to her loving mother Chrystien Guyton and father Kevin Smith. Kelsey's family was the center of her world, and she reciprocated that love with a warmth and innocence that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
In her brief time with us, Kelsey exhibited a remarkable spirit that surpassed her years. She had an innate ability to find joy in the simplest of things, reminding us all of the beauty that exists in the world around us. Kelsey's infectious smiles and boundless energy brought immense joy to the lives of her family and friends.
Kelsey was cherished by her siblings, Wyatt, Donovan, Khloe, and Kennedy, and held a special place in the hearts of her Grandma Tammy and Uncle Dom, as well as Granna Rhoda and Poppy William, and a host of other loving relatives.
Kelsey's absence will be deeply felt by all who had the honor of sharing in her smiles and love. Her presence illuminated every room, and her memory will forever be a source of comfort to those who knew her.
Kelsey also held a special place in her heart for Peppa Pig, a source of delight and laughter that brought her immense joy.
A Celebration of Life service for Kelsey Emerson Maia Guyton will be held at Concordia Lutheran Church, 4245 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN, 46815, on January 5, 2024, at 11 am. All friends, family, and well-wishers are invited to join in commemorating the beautiful and too-short life of this extraordinary child.
Though Kelsey may no longer be with us in the physical sense, the memories of her smiles, kindness, love, and her fondness for Peppa Pig will forever be engraved in our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace.
With deepest affection,
The Guyton Family
