Kay Diann Van Markwyk, 81, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away April 1, 2024, at Parkview DeKalb Hospital. She was born December 15, 1942, in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Herschel and Flora DeWitt. Kay graduated from Warren Central High School in 1961.
She retired as a Customer Service Specialist at General Petroleum, with over 10 years of service. She was a member of Life Bridge Church of Fort Wayne.
She is survived by her children, Jay (Betsy) Van Markwyk, Kimberly Van Markwyk, Sandy Van Markwyk, all of Fort Wayne, IN; and a sister, Sandra (David) Young of Indianapolis, IN. Kay was preceded in death by her sister, Jean, and brothers, Johnny, Eldon, Dennis and Jerry DeWitt.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Thursday April 11, 2024, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home 1320 E. Dupont Road Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation 2 hours prior.
