KAY A. ROE, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, in Olympia Fields, Ill. Born Dec. 17, 1938, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Maxine (Herrick) and Waldo Melchi. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her four children, David Robinson and Linda Alkhattaf, both of New Haven, Steve Robinson of Fort Wayne, and Tina Foster of New Haven; three stepchildren, Cheryl Smith of Fort Wayne, Rolla Roe of Rapid City, S.D. and Melodi Parrish of Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister Melba Osborn; and brother, Harold Melchi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Eugene Roe; and son Gary Robinson; and Geraldine Melchi.
Funeral service is 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St., with calling from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. Pastor Robert Arenobine officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park
