Karen L. Whitehead, 84, of Fort Wayne passed away peacefully on March 1, 2023. Born on February 10, 1939 in Indianapolis, IN. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Grace Colburn. She was married to her late husband Roy Whitehead for 20 years; sister to Robert (Jackie) Colburn; loving mother to Amy (Robert) Brooks, Matt Hoevel, Marcy (Tony) Bestard, grandmother to Taylor, Sophie, Jack, Allyson, Emma, Will; and great-grandmother to Oakley, Navy and Piper; and grand fur dogs and cats. She was preceded in death by her daughter Wendy. At Karen’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
