Karen Kay Puckett Scott, age 79, of Van Wert, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Karen was born in Van Wert Hospital, to the late Harold Puckett and Mary E. (Barker-Puckett) Lopshire. Karen retired from Teleflex, in Van Wert. She loved BINGO and making friends.
Karen is survived by her children: Darrold (Deb) Scott of Oakwood, OH; Amy (Laurence Goings) of Latty, OH; Charlene (Terry) Pastor of Kendallville, IN. Also surviving Karen are 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, along with her beloved long-time friend, Meado Salas. She was preceded in death by her son, Brian L. Scott and her daughter, Paula M. Scott. Karen's three brothers also preceded her in death: Virgle Puckett, Larry Puckett and Dana Puckett.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life for Karen on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 1 p.m., at the Payne Church of the Nazarene, 509 Orchard St, Payne, OH 45880, with a potluck meal. All floral arrangements should be sent to the church. Arrangements entrusted to Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services-Highland Park.
