Karel Louise Dailey

KAREL LOUISE (THIEME) DAILEY, 74, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014. Born in Decatur, she was a daughter of Harold and Alma Thieme. She was a lifelong Lutheran and a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. Diagnosed with lung cancer in 2010 she stayed strong in her faith and drew strength from the knowledge that God was always there for her and never left her side. She is survived by children, Kirk (Karen) Dailey, Dawn (Peter) Norris and Troy Dailey; father, Harold Thieme; sister, Donna Daniels; brother, Duane (Kathy) Thieme; stepsisters, Janet (Jeff) Azbell and Becky (Denny) Zelt; and four grandchildren.

Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 917 West Jefferson Blvd., Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 West Wayne St., Fort Wayne. Burial to follow service in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
