Judith A. Wheeler

Judith A. Wheeler, age 79, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 the last surviving member of the Minton family from Huntertown, Indiana. She was born March 7, 1943 in Fort Wayne, to the late Robert and Ruby Minton. Judy graduated from Central High School and worked for Hall's Restaurants for forty-six years, as well as Fort Wayne Community Schools Transportation Services for twenty-four years prior to her retirement. She had a passion for children and coached youth bowling at Deihnert's Lanes, served as troop chaperone for the Girl Scouts of America, and drove various groups to marching band competitions. Judith loved to gamble, namely lottery and BINGO at St. Vincent de Paul and watching the Hallmark Channel.

Judith is survived by her children, James (Roberta J. Pape) Lupke, Jeffrey Lupke, Bobbi Jo (Joseph) Rouse; grandchildren, Jessica Rose, Savannah Danielle, Nova Lee, Alexis, Nathaniel, Michael. She was predeceased by her daughter, Toni Jean Wood; and great-granddaughter, Serenity Rouse.

A Funeral Service for Judith will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Highland Park, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825, with calling two hours prior.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
