Joyce T. Jordan

Joyce T. Jordan, 78, passed away August 20, 2023 at Kingston at Dupont in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born October 15, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Joseph T. and Sylvia A. Jordan. She move to Fort Wayne in 1968 and earned her Bachelor’s from St. Francis University in 1971. Joyce worked for the Division of Family and Children at a Family Case Manager for 23 years. Joyce was a loving mother and sister and enjoyed hanging out at her pool with her son. She was passionate about animals, especially her cats and horses when she was younger. She was a volunteer at Black Pines Animal Sanctuary, Albion, Indiana. Joyce had a true appreciation for Christmas and loved to decorate her entire house. She is survived by her son, Brad A. Dawson of Huntertown, IN; brother James (Diann) Jordan of Oklahoma, sisters, Sandra Justman, Patti Kanagtaa, nephew Joe (Kendall) Jordan and their daughter, Kennedy, and a niece Myriah Jordan. Celebration of life will be 7:00 pm Thursday, October 19, 2023 at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Funeral Home 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana with visitation 2 hours prior.
