Josh loved nature and participated in backwoods activities, such as woodworking, carving, blacksmithing, leatherwork, hunting, archery and fishing. He loved cooking, and trying new food dishes and techniques. He was handy and very creative in finding ways to fix things. He was a trivia buff and loved to amaze and amuse us with his knowledge. He was a dreamer, a fact-finder, a teacher, an artist and a friend. He is sorely missed. All our love is with him now; that love grows within us, influencing and filling all aspects of our lives.
Josh leaves behind his father, David Barnes; his brother, Jacob Barnes; and his mother and step-father, Karen Free and George Cook, all of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
