John R. Zoch

John R. Zoch, 54, of Fort Wayne passed away on Sunday May 26, at home surrounded by his family. Born in Fort Wayne he was a son of John P. “Jack” and Maren L. (nee. Zern) Zoch, who survive. A member of St. Joseph Hessen Cassel Catholic Church, and worked as a Journeyman Patternmaker, for over 25 years. He loved working outside on his lawn, and over the years created a beautiful home for his five favorite girls. He enjoyed spending time with his family on vacation or at the lake. He will truly be missed.

He is also survived by his wife, Rita (nee. Litchfield); daughters Julie, Laura, Carolyn, and Paula Zoch; grandson, Benjamin David Zoch; siblings, Tom (Patrice) Zoch, Dan Zoch, Amy (Dave) Gunderson, and Joe Zoch; and mother-in-law, Charlotte Litchfield.

Mass of Resurrection will be at 11 AM Thursday May 30, at St. Joseph Hessen Cassel Catholic Church, 11521 Old US 27 S., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 2 to 4 and 5 to 9 PM Wednesday May 29, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to St. Joseph Hessen Cassel Catholic Church, Parkview Home Health and Hospice, or the Allen County SPCA.
